Mills County Commission Company, LLC. is one of the most established sheep and goat markets in the state of Texas.  MCCC has been in business for over 70 years, of which 29 years have remained under the Hohertz family ownership.  Carl Ray Hohertz purchased 50% ownership of the barn in 1979.  Carl Ray's oldest son, Heath Hohertz, bought John Clifton's 50% ownership in 1997, thus making MCCC family owned.  Carl Ray retired his ownership of MCCC to his youngest son, Harlan Hohertz, in 2003.

Our goal is to serve the public.  We assist our customers in hauling and catch services as well as treating both buyers and sellers equally and fairly.

Our auction is evaluated and reported by a USDA market reporter weekly.  We are proud to be one of the three Texas sheep and goat auctions (Fredricksburg, Goldthwaite, and San Angelo) that is observed each week by an official USDA market reporter.  Because our market report is composed by an official USDA market reporter, a more accurate report is revealed to the customer each week.

MCCC consistantly keeps lower commission rates to help our customers reap higher profits.
